Perrineau is also known for his role as “Link” in the “Matrix” movies and as “Tyrone Jackson” in the 1989 stage adaptation of the 1980 movie Fame.  He played inmate and narrator “Augustus Hill” in the HBO drama series OZ.  His breakout role was as “Michael Dawson” in the popular TV series Lost.  Perrineau appeared in the first two seasons and returned for the fourth season where the character was killed off in the season finale.  He now plays “Detective Leo Banks” in the new comedy-drama series The Unusuals which premiered in April of 2009.
