Winning on the 2004 reality television show I Wanna Be a Soap Star earned Mykel Shannnon Jenkins a 13 week contract on General Hospital as “Officer Byron Murphy”.  His role as “Charlie Baker” on The Bold and the Beautiful was also a police officer.  Mykel Jenkins will appear as “Black Panther” in the film The Chicago 8 to be released in 2010.
