Anthony, whose position is a small forward for the NBA Denver Nuggets, beginning his career with the team in 2003.   Participating In the 2004 Got Milk?  Rookie Challenge, Anthony scored 17 points, took 3 rebounds and made 5 assists in 40 minutes of playing.  That same year, he went on to score 41 points against the Seattle SuperSonics, setting a new Nuggets achievement for most points scored by a rookie.  In a game against the Miami Heat in the 2004-05 season Anthony became the third-youngest player in NBA history to reach 2,000 career points.  He played on the 2008 U. S. Summer Olympic along with other notable players such as Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant driving the team to gold medal victory. When not playing for the Nuggets, Anthony gives his time and money to charitable causes in Denver and Baltimore.  He is a spokesman for the Family Resource Center in Denver and opened the Carmelo Anthony Youth Development Center in Baltimore in 2006. Anthony has made appearances of many television sports related talk shows and was an executive producer in the documentary titled:  Tyson.
