Martin is an actor of theater, film, and television.
Martin’s Broadway debut was in a Shakespearian play titled Timon of Athens.  His most memorable stage role was that of “Tom Collins” in the Broadway musical Rent.  When the play was adapted for film Martin again played the role of “Tom Collins”.  His TV appearance include:  “Dr. Greg Butters” on Ally McBeal,  and The X Files.  Martin is probably best known for playing the character of “Detective Ed Green” on Law & Order from 1999-2008. Detective Green” also appeared in episodes of Law & Order: SUV and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Martin will produce and star in the film Sexual Healing. The film will tell the story of the last years of singer Marvin Gaye’s life.
