Bio:O’Neal started his climb to basketball greatness in Linton Middle School setting a school record of 791 rebounds during the 1989 season.   He played for the LSU Tigers and graduated with an MBA, making him the only NBA player to do so. During his professional career, O’Neal has played for four NBA teams:  Orlando Magic, Lakers, Miami Heat, and, currently, the Phoenix Suns.  He is one of the NBA’s few players to ever reach the Finals with three different teams.  He has received many NBA awards, among them:  1992-93 NBA Rookie of the Year, 3-time NBA finals MVP, and 15-time All-Star. O’Neal is well liked by the media for his light heartedness and articulate manner.  “The Big Aristotle and Hobo Master” is a name that was self-given, because of his composure and insights during media interviews.
Not just a talented athlete, O’Neal has pursued careers in acting, producing, directing and music.  He is well-known and well-liked throughout the world.
