James Blake began playing tennis when he was five. He played alongside his older brother Thomas who is also a professional tennis player. At the age of 13 he was diagnosed with scoliosis and had to wear a full-length back brace for 18 hours a day, but was able to remove it when playing tennis.
Blake turned pro in 2000 at the age of 21. Since then he a career record of 311-187 and has earned 10 career titles.

A-Rod began his professional baseball career as a shortstop with the “Seattle Mariners” in 1994. Just under the age of 19 he was only the third 18-year-old Major League shortstop since 1900. He became a power hitter in his first season with the Rangers with 52 home runs, 133 runs scored and 393 total bases.
A-Rod joined the New York Yankees in 2004 and remains with the team at present. He hit his 500th home run in August of 2007 making him the youngest player, at age 32, to achieve this goal. Among his many awards and accomplishments are: 3-time American League MVP and 5-time AL Home Run Title. Rodriguez is considered one of the best all-around baseball players of all time.
