Terrence Howard Biography: Multi-talented Howard can claim success as an actor, singer and rapper.  His big film break came in the 1995 movie Mr. Holland’s Opus starring “Richard Dreyfuss.   Howard received both Golden Globe and Oscar nominations for his starring role in the 2005 movie Hustle & Flow. He has many other television and movie acting roles to his credit including:  The Players Club, Big Momma’s House, Crash, and Iron Man.  Howard co-stars with Channing Tatum in the 2009 movie Fighting and as the voice of “James” in the Disney animated film The Princess and the Frog to be released in December, 2009.

Although not technically a music artist, Howard performed several tracks for Hustle &Flow.  One of the songs, “It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp” won an Academy Award for Best Original Song.  Howard released an album in 2008 titled “Shine Through It”.
